This year we congratulate Ms. Anastacia Makati for graduating with her Masters of Science (MSc) degree from the Department of Environmental and Geographical Science
University of Cape Town. Her thesis was titled “Elephant space use in relation to ephemeral surface water availability in the eastern Okavango Panhandle, Botswana”
Anastacia was supervised by Associate Professor Frank Eckardt in University of Cape Town, Dr. Anna Songhurst and Dr. Graham McCulloch from Ecoexist Trust, Dr. Emily Bennitt from Okavango Research Institute, and Dr. Amanda Stronza from Texas A&M University.
